Why Grinwood

A partner that thinks in decades

Grinwood is a manufacturer, not a trader. We run our own production and product development in Huzhou, China, so the range you sell today is still the range you can sell and support years from now. If you work in the higher segment of the market and want to build something for the long term, tell us about your business using the form.

What you get as a Grinwood dealer:

• Own production, with full control over quality, range and delivery
• Complete systems for decking, cladding, fencing and lath from one supplier
• Mix all product lines and colours in your first 20ft container, ready to ship in around three weeks
• Samples, photography, showroom material and technical support on every project

Frequently asked questions

Becoming a dealer is an important step in building a long‑term partnership with us. This FAQ provides clear answers to the most common questions about requirements, support, and collaboration. It helps you understand how we work, what you can expect from our team, and how we support dealers in growing their business with confidence.

Can I use Grinwood photography and marketing materials?

Yes. Approved dealers get access to brand photography, product visuals, logos and display material for showrooms and fairs. To keep the brand consistent, all materials are used as supplied and in line with the Grinwood brand guidelines.

What are the lead times?

Production of a standard order takes around 3 weeks after deposit, depending on the availability of our production lines. Every order confirmation includes a planned loading date, and we keep you informed until your container ships. For the smoothest cooperation we prefer to work with a forecast, so we can reserve production capacity for you in advance.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our standard minimum is one 20ft container. Decking, cladding, lath and fencing can be combined in one container, so a first order can cover your full range. We are happy to advise on a sensible starting mix of colours and profiles.

Are samples available?

Absolutely, and we would love to get some into your hands. WPC really has to be seen and felt to be judged, and the grain, the finish and the weight tell you far more in person than any photograph ever will. Request yours through our Sample Request Page or simply get in touch, and we will put together a set that matches the products and colors you are interested in.

Are showroom visits possible?

Yes, you are very welcome. Our showroom is located at Longquanwu Eco-Industrial Zone, Miaoxi, Huzhou, Zhejiang, China, where you can see the full decking, cladding and fencing range applied in real settings and compare finishes side by side. We do ask you to book your visit in advance, so we can make sure the right technical colleague is available to guide you. If travelling to China is not practical, we are happy to give you a live video tour of the showroom instead and send a sample box so you can assess the products yourself.

Is support available for projects?

Yes. Our technical team supports dealers on projects of every size, from a single terrace to a full facade or fencing scheme. We help with material calculations, substructure advice, detail drawings and full product specifications, and we can supply samples for your client presentations.

What makes Grinwood suitable for long term partnerships?

Because we think in decades, not in orders. Grinwood is a manufacturer with its own production and its own product development, which gives us full control over quality and a range that stays available and consistent year after year. That is what a long term partner actually needs, the certainty that what you sell today is still what you can sell and support years from now. Dealers stay with us because we grow with them, not because of one sharp price.

How does the ordering process work?

It starts with your requirements. Send us your project details or stock list and we will come back with a quotation and a proforma invoice, including lead time, packing and shipping options. Once the order is confirmed we schedule production and keep you updated on progress until the goods are ready to ship. You keep the same contact person from the first quotation right through to delivery.

What support do dealers receive?

A great deal more than product. Every dealer gets a full promotional package with brochures, display and showroom material, product photography and sample sets, so you can walk into any client meeting fully equipped. Behind that stands a service team that treats your questions as its own and answers fast, because your speed towards your customer depends on ours. And since you are the one in the market every day, we genuinely want your input. What you tell us about demand, missing sizes and colours feeds directly into the products we develop next.

What are the requirements to become a dealer?

Dealerships are offered to partners who value long term collaboration, consistent quality and a professional approach to serving their customers. In practice that means you operate in the higher segment of the WPC market, where finish, durability and good advice count for more than the lowest price. It also means you are building something over the years rather than placing a single opportunistic order. If that describes your business, we would like to talk.
